Meet Our Executive Team
Sandra McDonald-Spence MSc, BSc, JP
Chairman (CEO)
Mrs McDonald-Spence is the Founder and Executive Chairman of Mckayla Financial Services Ltd, now in its 18th year of operations with seven (7) branches across Jamaica and an MFI to the Development Bank of Jamaica.
Mrs McDonald- Spence has over forty (40) years combined Micro-lending, Development Bank exposure, Commercial Banking along with being a Bank training specialist in various areas of operations and credit. Her experiences saw work executed with organizations such as Trafalgar Development Bank, Trafalgar Commercial Bank and CIBC Jamaica (FCIB).
Over the years, Mrs McDonald-Spence has delivered numerous speaking engagements to the business, church and school communities and has done lecturing stints with UWI School of Continuing Studies.
Mrs McDonald-Spence received her post-graduate and under-graduate qualifications from the University of the West Indies. They are the Master of Science in Human Resources Development and Bachelor of Science with Honours in Management Studies.

Delroy A Josephs MBA (Finance), BBA (Finance)
Managing Director
Mr Josephs received his MBA from the University of Manchester (Manchester Business School-UK) and his BBA majoring in Finance from the University of Technology.
Mr Josephs’ expertise in Finance has facilitated numerous consultancy assignments. He is a mentor on the mentorship programme to Finance students at UTECH from 2004 and was a member of the Business Administration Accreditation panel at UTECH in 2003. Mr Josephs is a Director and Company Secretary of Mckayla Financial Services Ltd. He is also a Director of the Jamaica Micro Financing Association (
As a serial football lover, Mr Josephs currently serves as a Match Commissioner of the Jamaica Football Federation and serves as an event planner/
Marcia Black
Administrative Manager
Miss Black joined Mckayla Financial Services Limited, in 2015 in the capacity of Administration/Human Resources Manager.
Miss Black has over twenty years of exposure in the mortgage lending sector, with specific experience gained from the Housing Agency of Jamaica, where she worked in the roles of Administration, Mortgage Origination, Mortgage Arrears & Customer Service.
Miss Black achieved her MBA from the Florida International University (FIU) in 2013, in Business Administration and General Management and a Bachelor of Science Degree in Management Studies from the University of the West Indies in 2001.
Miss Black has an avid interest in the UCC Toast Masters club of which she has frequently participated.
Dawn Roberts
Financial Controller
Mrs. Dawn Roberts joined McKayla Financial Services Limited on October 2, 2017 in the capacity of Financial Controller. With over 30 years in the Auditing and Accounting industry, Mrs. Roberts has made her mark in several industries and organizations.
Having earned her accounting certification from the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) in 2010, she has made an indelible contribution to several fields including the Government of Jamaica where she served as an Internal Auditor; as an auditor in one of the world’s big four firms and within the Education industry where she was in the capacity of Accountant and Bursar. Prior to McKayla Financial Services Ltd, Mrs. Roberts also managed the finances of several regional markets as Group Accountant in the Telecom Industry.
